Welcome to The Sewing Loft! Thank You for visiting. I am a seamstress, not a web designer, so PLEASE excuse my website mess!
I have 30 years sewing experience. I've gone to college, tried out many different jobs, but sewing makes me happy. I thouroughly enjoy what I do. I've done craft shows, craft shops, eBay, eCrater, etc.
I offer Custom Sewing & Alteration Services as well as Crafting & Sewing Classes. Please see Alteration Prices under the 'Services' tab. Keep in mind, these prices are on the high end. MOST of the time your cost will be lower, especially with multiple services.
Want to LEARN to SEW???
It is very exciting for me to be able to offer Sewing Classes for Children (and Adults!). I truly believe sewing is a dying art, and YES, it IS art! Kids LOVE to sew and not only girls, but BOYS as well! I have 5 boys and they all know how to sew. My husband is a work in progress. My 6 year old daughter is well on her way to designing her own clothing. I think I've created a monster!
Adult sewing classes are being offered. You will be very suprised how easy it is to sew clothing for yourself and your children, AND at a fraction of the cost! Love the Boutique One - Of - A - Kind, Frilly, Appliqued, Perfectly Coordinated outfits down to and including Purse, Hairbows and Shoe Bows?? YOU can make it!!! I can also show you how to create the look of high end brand name T's for boys as well as pants, shorts, hats, one piece outfits that are VERY cute for little boys!
Both Children and Adults can learn to make coordinating clothing for kids and their favorite 15" - 18" dolls. A VERY fun project!
